Probably my favorite black metal find of the past year, Syöpä is raw black metal of the finest order. Reminds me a lot of good LLN bm, and by good LLN I mean "March to the Black Holocaust." This demo's rife with hate-filled riffs and nonstop blasting. I think on the 10-minute demo-best "Raise The Serpent Statue" there's like 2 minutes where the drummer isn't blasting and they're probably the worst 2 minutes on the song but hey try blasting for 10 straight minutes real talk

Local murky black/death metal from ex-Bloated Carcass members. There's going to be some awesome shit from this band in the future. RIYL: Sadistic Intent, Diocletian, etc.

Njiqahdda - Taegnuub: Ishnji Angma

Disregard the megahomo romance novel album art, this is some of the best atmospheric black metal out there. Njiqahdda combine shoegaze-ish noise, swirling psychedelia, and epic songwriting to create incredibly dense black metal. Also good if you like vox that sound like a constant stream of white noise.

First full length by raw Birmingham bm outfit Kriegis PhilBM. Quite possibly the grimmest shit ever. Siegin riff after siegin riff.

Lugubrum - De Vette Cuecken

Belgian black metal with weird tempo shifts and Gorguts-ish guitar noises. Also, they call themselves farmer black metal. Also, they are tagged brown metal on last.fm. Also, that rat thing is sucking its own dick.
